Moji Karimi

Moji is a multidisciplinary entrepreneur and engineer who helps ideate, develop, and commercialize ground-breaking technologies. He has a proven track record of taking ideas to market, both at big companies and startups. Moji's experiences range from developing advanced deepwater drilling methods to several new biologically inspired technologies with applications in several industries. In his previous endeavor, Moji joined Biota Technology as the fourth employee of the company to start the Houston office and commercialize DNA Sequencing in the energy industry. In two years he grew Biota's business to multi-million dollars in revenue and played a key role in establishing Subsurface DNA Diagnostics as a common method for reservoir characterization. Moji holds BS and MS degrees in drilling and petroleum engineering, respectively.

Benjamin A. Reed

Ben has expertise working in a multitude of verticals ranging from mobile tech, oil and gas, online marketplaces, digital publishing, real estate, finance, personal fitness, non-profits, and politics. Ben was part owner in Energy Media Group, which owns the largest diversified oil and gas publications in the world. Ben was instrumental in building,,,, and 300 other oil and gas focused websites that are visited by more than 3 million unique visitors each year and have over 250,000 social media followers.

Ben’s passion and professional focus is on building, scaling, and sustaining successful early stage startup ventures. Digital marketing, sales, product design, and partner acquisition are his specialty. Ben has a unique ability to bridge the gap between product development, marketing, and sales to ensure the customer is always served. His ultimate goal in business is to provide immense value to his customers and clients.

Steven Gonzalez

Steven is a Strategist and Change Agent with nearly 30 years of NASA experience in strategy development; seeding and implementing innovation initiatives; identifying and creating technology collaborations in support of the NASA mission needs. Expertise in identifying opportunities for private/public collaborations that will benefit NASA, Industry and the university partners.

His specialties include:

Long range Strategic planning (20 year strategy)

Identifying and creating new partnerships and creating coalitions between teams that at the onset have diverging perspectives and requirements.

Extensive experience in collaborating with the innovation community to accelerate or transfer NASA technology and to identify opportunities to strengthen the innovation capability in the region.
